1. Start by removing the door from the pocket, to do this you will need to remove the head jamb and any trims obstructing the door.

2. Cut an opening in the plaster wall big enough so you may access the door track inside the wall.

3. Once you have access to the door track you may begin to remove the old track. Several screws are usually on the center of the track.

4. If required, also replace the rollers/hardware on the door, this will ensure a better finish for your cavity door. outwards.

5. Once you have the track ready for installation, slide it into position and begin to secure it.

6. Note: Some tracks require the rollers to be in position before installing the overhead track.

8. Now proceed to secure the rollers from the track to the door, use a pry bar and wood shims if necessary to help position the door.

9. Once all the hardware has been attached its time to align the unit so it will sit neatly and operate smoothly.

10. Patch up the wall again, reuse the piece of plaster that was initially removed.

11. You should now have a fully functioning cavity door.
